The Friday evening youth club is looking for two additional volunteer leaders to support the growing attendance. DBS checks are provided free of charge. If you can spare a couple of hours on a Friday evening, please contact the parish clerk.

Work is progressing on new LED street lighting across the parish, replacing outdated sodium lamps. The programme is expected to reduce energy costs by 60% and improve visibility at key junctions. Completion is scheduled for September.

The parish council has partnered with the Woodland Trust to plant 150 native trees this autumn across three sites. Volunteers are welcome to help with planting days in November. Species include oak, hazel, rowan, and wild cherry to support local biodiversity.
