The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is seeking a production partner for providing advice and production support on an in house designed product called Device 6820 ("the Product"). The scope of the requirements will include discussions on the methods of manufacture, prototyping and assembly of the Product to enable it to be qualitatively and efficiently produced in larger quantities by the appointed production partner. Arc Property Services Partnership Ltd (the Client), is seeking to appoint a single contractor to deliver painting and decorating works under an NEC4 Term Service Short Contract. The Contract will also be made available to VIA East Midlands Ltd (Participating Organisation). The scope of works will include the provision of painting and decorating services across a varied portfolio of operational and commercial properties across the operational estate that manages on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and other customers. Works will be undertaken at sites located across Nottinghamshire (main area), Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Leicestershire. The contract is expected to commence in February 2027 for an initial period of two years, with the option to extend for up to two additional periods of two years each, up to a maximum potential end date in 2033 (2+2+2 = 6 years). The estimated total value of the contract over its full potential duration is approximately £780,000 (inclusive of VAT). This only an estimate and the award will be based on the outcome of the tender process. This procurement will be carried out as a two-stage process comprising a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) stage followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT). One supplier will be appointed. Suppliers will be invited to submit a Stage 1 response demonstrating their suitability, capability, capacity, relevant experience, technical competence, accreditations, financial standing and compliance with the Authority's minimum requirements. Responses will be evaluated against the published selection criteria. Following evaluation, the Authority intends to shortlist the highest-scoring suppliers who meet the minimum requirements and invite them to participate in Stage 2. The Authority reserves the right to limit the number of suppliers progressing to the next stage in accordance with the criteria set out in the procurement documents. Stage 2 - Invitation to Submit Tender Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to submit a detailed tender for the painting and decorating works and associated works across the Client's estate. Tenders will be evaluated based on the published award criteria using the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) approach (price to quality ratio: price30%/quality70%). The successful supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with the Client, contribute to social value outcomes, support carbon reduction objectives and demonstrate high standards of health and safety, compliance, and service delivery across all commissioned works. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Bidders should be made aware that as the Client's main customer is NCC, there is a risk of increase or decrease in the number of sites managed and the types of properties serviced, due to the proposal of local government reorganisation. The Authority reserves the right to amend the procurement timetable, request clarifications, and conduct presentations, interviews or site visits where considered necessary and proportionate.

In 2024, the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust established a Framework Agreement under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (and as amended) (the PSR) for use by all Relevant Authorities (and any future successors to these organisations). This is extended to be include the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime)(Wales) Regulations 2025. "Relevant authority" is defined in section 12ZB(7) of the National Health Service Act 2006 and in section 10A(9) of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006. It means a combined authority, an integrated care board, a local authority in England, NHS England, an NHS foundation trust or an NHS trust established under section 25 of that Act, a county council or county borough council in Wales, a local health board established under section 11 of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006, a National Health Service trust established under section 18 of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006, or a special health authority established under section 22 of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006. For the avoidance of doubt, any successor bodies of any of the above entities shall be entitled to place Orders and shall be deemed Relevant Authorities for the purposes of this Framework Agreement. This framework agreement aims to support mental health patient requirements through the provision of secure patient transport services. The framework was awarded to run for an initial term of 2 years with options to extend for up to a further 2 years in annual increments. The successful Supplier will be required to provide Catering services for Waverley Education Foundation and Al-Furqan Primary School. Waverley School is larger than the average-sized school.
