The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Swansea University is seeking to procure a high-power UV-optimised tuneable light source (TLS) for use in spectroscopic applications such as photo deflection spectroscopy and external quantum efficiency. This equipment will be housed in the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM) and will be used across the electrical engineering and physics departments. To maximise the dynamic range available for in these spectroscopic experiments the output of the TLS should be maximised in the UV range (200-400 nm) with an average output power of at least 1 mW and a spectral bandwidth of less than 5 nm. The current spectroscopic capabilities in CISM include near-infrared and visible photo thermal deflection and external quantum efficiency spectrometers. The expansion of these techniques to include UV wavelengths will enable CISM to perform spectroscopic and electro-optical analysis on wide bandgap semiconductors.

The Council intends to establish a multi-provider framework agreement through which care packages will be commissioned. The scope of this procurement includes the provision of regulated homecare services to adults (18+) across Cambridgeshire, including older people, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health and autism needs, and other eligible service users. Services will be delivered across defined geographic areas (lots), ensuring local responsiveness and continuity of care. Tayside Contracts invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to tender for appointment to a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Pest Control Services. Bath & North East Somerset Council ("the Council") currently delivers a comprehensive highways service through a term maintenance arrangement covering routine and reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, surfacing works, small improvement schemes, drainage, structures and associated highway assets. This contract is due to expire in 2029. The Council will shortly undertake an Early Market Engagement exercise in advance of the reprocurement of its Highway Term Maintenance Contract (TMC) in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, which is anticipated to commence in April 2029. The purpose of the engagement (to follow) is to inform the Council's approach to the scope, structure and packaging of the future contract, test market appetite and capacity, understand the commercial and operational implications of potential service delivery models and ensure the future arrangements are attractive to the market, being deliverable and capable of providing value for money.

Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Clerk of Works Consultant to provide independent quality assurance, site inspection and construction monitoring services across a diverse portfolio of housing, regeneration and capital projects. For the purpose of this model the term 'intermediate care' is used to describe services in the community that provide short term period of stabilisation, assessment, and reablement with the view to maximising a person's independence and, where possible, keep them at home. The Pathway 2 model is supported within a Nursing Home setting. Intermediate care services can either: a) provide support to people who are medically optimised following an acute episode of care: or b) provide support to people in the community who are in danger of needing an acute episode of care if an intermediate health or reablement intervention is not provided. This is referred to in this document as 'diversion', as it diverts people away from needing an acute hospital.

South Lanarkshire Council, Housing and Technical Resources, Property Services have a requirement to appoint a specialist contractor to carry out Kitchen Canopy Cleaning and associated ductwork within 140 locations throughout South Lanarkshire, this includes primary schools, Council Headquarters, Social Work establishments and Leisure Facilities. The works will include a full clean of the kitchen canopy, grease filters, plenums, channels, duct work and extract fan. This is required at each location on an annual basis and a further canopy clean will require to be completed throughout the year. Installation of access doors to canopies or replacement, repairs to doors may also be required. On completion of the works a post service report inclusive of pre clean and post clean images must be provided

His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) requires the provision of a scanning service for evidential material.

The Council is intending to undertake a procurement exercise to appointment a Provider to undertake the haulage, treatment, recycling / recovery and final disposal of combined street sweeping and gully emptying’s waste. This service is to supply spare parts associated with the maintenance of Dynamic Waverider Buoys (DWRs) that provide hydrodynamic data for the Anglian Coastal Monitoring Programme (ACMP). This equipment is needed imminently and supports the upkeep of the hydrodynamic network until the end of the current phase of the ACMP, which ends 31/03/2027. The ACMP collects monitoring and survey data from the extent between the Humber and Thames estuaries. It currently utilises 7 deployed DWRs.
