London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) is undertaking a Pre-Market Engagement exercise in advance of a forthcoming procurement for the delivery of comprehensive electrical works and associated services. In April 2025, the UK government introduced a statutory levy on gambling operators to provide 'independent and sustainable funding for gambling-related harms research, prevention and treatment'. A small portion of this funding has been allocated to the Gambling Commission so that it can procure research into gambling-related harms in line with its licensing objectives. Consequently, the Commission wishes to undertake some early market engagement to help it determine how best it might structure an invitation to tender for the provision of research services that will enable it to accelerate the process by which it can fill the evidence gaps that have been identified within the Evidence Roadmaps that the Commission's Research and Statistics Team have developed. About the Commission The Gambling Commission is an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport. The Commission is responsible for issuing personal gambling licences for individuals and gambling operating licences for businesses operating in Great Britain and we are responsible for ensuring all licensing applications meet the following objectives: • preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder or being used to support crime • ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way • protecting children and other vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling. Hertfordshire County Council (the Council) is carrying out PME in relation to the Development of Nursing Home Care Provision in Hertfordshire programme. The Council will consider the feedback received to shape the Council’s options, requirements and further decision making. The Council is progressing a Social Investment Model to support the delivery of additional nursing home capacity in Hertfordshire. Eastleigh Borough Council will soon be launching the tendering for the design, supply and installation of ground source heating & cooling network to all 192 residential units, it is important that the system provides cooling either 'passive' or 'active'. There is a 50/50 split between houses and apartments on this scheme, the tender will be for the design and build of the ground source heat network, with a fully costed option for supply only with EBC owning and managing the network after installation, and a separate fully costed option to have an asset owned model where by EBC and homeowners pay a monthly access charge to be connected to the network. It is anticipated that the procurement will include the supply of the heat pump & hot water tank to all 192 dwellings (to be installed separately by the main contractor) but the boreholes, pipe laying and commissioning will all be by the winning tenderer. There will also be a need for pricing, setting out the costs per dwelling per month by way of an access charge, including maintenance of the heat pump and hot water tank, in addition to the wider network maintenance. NHS Health Checks for the Spilsby Practice Code area

Vicarage Fields is a town centre site in Hailsham. It was acquired in 2017 and has been routinely maintained since that time. However, several areas of the buildings have now been identified as requiring rejuvenation, and the Council intends to deliver a project to address these essential works. The Remedial Works Project includes the replacement of soffits, eaves, and rainwater goods, along with the renewal of external doors and first-floor windows. A number of flat roofs also require replacement coverings, with associated works in specific locations including new rooflights and guardrails. It is important that all works are carried out sensitively, as tenants will remain in occupation throughout the project. Severn Trent Water are looking for partners to develop a fast and safe to install base slab reinforcement for a range of liquid storage tanks. These tanks can be either rectangular or circular and are to be constructed from Severn Trent designed modular pre-cast concrete panels which are much quicker to install than traditional offerings. The design of the base slab reinforcements should focus on creating a small catalogue of optimised repeatable units that can be deployed to any size of tank without major modification to the design philosophy. The Relevant Authority is looking to commission an appropriate provider for a Community Tier 2 Gynaecology Service to provide a long-term transformational solution to the current demand and capacity for gynaecological secondary care services. The service will provide a non-consultant led, community-based service for assessment, diagnosis and non-surgical treatment for routine benign gynaecological conditions delivered across the entirety of the Lancashire and South Cumbria operational footprint which covers four places: • Central and West Lancashire • South Cumbria and North Lancashire • Blackpool Fylde and Wyre • East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen. To ensure clinical equity, standardised governance, and unfragmented patient care pathways, this service will be procured as a single contract to one single prime provider. The British Council, acting as the UK National Agency for the Erasmus+ Programme, is conducting a procurement exercise to establish a pool of external experts to provide assessment services. The purpose of this procurement is to establish a multi-candidate framework agreement ("Experts Pool") for the provision of independent expert assessment services. Appointed Experts will be commissioned on a call-down basis to undertake: - Assessment of Erasmus+ grant applications; - Assessment of interim and final beneficiary reports; and - Associated evaluation and quality assurance activities. The Low Pay Commission (LPC) invites tenders for new or innovative research in relation to the National Living Wage (NLW) and the National Minimum Wage (NMW). This call is for projects that would deliver results in September 2027, with a final report due in November 2027. It is published alongside a call for larger-scale projects (LPC 2026/03), which would deliver final results by September 2028. Please carefully consider which is most suitable for your project. The Low Pay Commission is a non-departmental public body that advises the government about the National Minimum Wage (NMW), including the National Living Wage (NLW) and the minimum wage rates for young workers and apprentices. We are responsible for evaluating the effects of the NMW and NLW and making recommendations on future rates. To carry out these functions, our work involves: • carrying out extensive research and consultation with employers, workers and their representatives and taking written and oral evidence from a wide range of organisations; • analysing relevant data to understand the state of the economy and labour market and the impact of the minimum wage; • commissioning research projects into these questions. This research will fill gaps in our current understanding of the impacts of the minimum wage, particularly the increases in the minimum wage rates since 2019. It will complement the LPC's own analysis of pay, the labour market and the broader economy and sit alongside other pieces of commissioned research. We are aware that the pandemic and its aftermath have disrupted many of the usual data sources upon which we rely. However, there have also been recent developments in new data sources, and in data linking. We are keen to consider tenders that can take advantage of these. A list of suggested topics for research is provided in Section A2 of the Invitation to Tender document. However, we recognise that there may be areas of investigation worth pursuing that we have not yet identified, or which have not previously been considered in great depth. Researchers who believe that they have a worthwhile proposal that would fall into these categories are welcome to submit it for consideration. We would also encourage proposals from those who wish to extend current research on the impact of the minimum wage, whether that original research was funded by us or another organisation. We will fund up to three projects under this call. The maximum estimated budget for each project is £60,000 excluding VAT (£75,000 including VAT); however, we welcome tenders for smaller projects.
