Description

To maintain the structural integrity of the bridge proposed maintenance works are listed below: • Site Clearance, • Reconstruction of missing parts of downstream (southeast & southwest) wingwalls and pilasters with matching ashlar stone masonry, • Repointing of masonry arch barrel, arch face and wing walls, • Cleaning of brickwork and stone masonry, • Removal of graffiti on masonry work, • Removal of existing downstream (south) parapet, • Installation of new upstream (north) and downstream (south) parapets, • De-vegetation of masonry and around wingwalls, • Resurfacing over the existing tarmac track.
