The Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced training providers to develop in partnership with employers, and deliver Skills Bootcamps at Level 2 to level 5 in: 24 - Construction 3 - Minimum of 60 GLH, up to a maximum of 16 weeks of delivery (expected minimum duration would be between 2-4 weeks). All Skills Bootcamps should include the Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction Environment and the CSCS Green Card, including booking the test and applying for the card on the learner's behalf (Including any necessary re-sits to enable learners to achieve). Training to support these individuals to engage with Construction Agencies and also work within the HMRC Construction Industry Scheme. The content of the course should cover one of, as a guide only, roles such as Plant Operator, Groundworks, Utilities, Plastering, Plumbing, Scaffolding, Tiling or another trade where skills shortages can be identified. 25 - Construction 4 - Minimum of 60 GLH, over a maximum of 16 weeks of delivery at a minimum of Level 3. We would like these Skills Bootcamps to focus on re-skilling and upskilling to roles within the Construction Sector. The delivery provider will ensure that, where appropriate to the learner's intended role and progression pathway, learners are supported to obtain the correct Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. The content of the course should cover one of, as a guide only, Construction Management, Construction Supervisor, Project Management for Construction, NEBOSH Management in Construction Health & Safety or another area where skills shortages can be identified.
