It is required to design and construct Phase 2 in two parts, to align with external funding timeframes. Part 2 covers upper Darlington Street, Queen Square and Lichfield Street. It is required to undertake traffic signal works at the junctions along this route, between North Street and Pipers Row, to strip out the existing system and replace with a new upgraded system, in line with the new public realm infrastructure.
