The Council is commissioning a provider to deliver a service which supports unpaid carers to: • Participate in organised day trips and short breaks with or without the person they care for. • Participate in free or low-cost social, leisure and community-based opportunities, with or without the person they care for. • Access the information, guidance and resources they need to plan holidays and short breaks with the person they support, helping to overcome barriers and make informed choices about accessible and inclusive options.
