Description
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is seeking market engagement with suppliers capable of providing the assembling, supply, and distribution of postal self-test kits for the detection of Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. The requirement includes the assembly, and supply of six self-sampling kit variants (three vaginal and three penile), incorporating urine, vaginal, rectal, oral, and blood sampling options. Suppliers will be expected to provide end-to-end services, including sourcing and management of kit components, printing and inclusion of patient-facing documentation, inventory and stock management, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and direct distribution of kits to service users through postal and delivery services. This engagement will help inform the procurement approach and identify suppliers with the capability to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and scalable postal self-testing solution across UHB and its delivery partners.
