The vehicle/transportable event space will not be on a permanent site and must be easily transportable to destinations around the UK. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

The objective of microbiological food safety research themes is to provide robust information on the presence, growth, survival, and elimination of pathogenic microorganisms throughout the food chain; the extent, distribution, causes, risks and burden of foodborne disease will also be considered where appropriate. The reduction of foodborne disease has been one of FSA’s key objectives in ensuring food safety. The reduction of foodborne disease is a continuing priority, ensuring that food produced and sold in the UK is safe to eat. We are taking a targeted approach to the control and reduction of individual pathogens, with the aim of reducing the overall burden of foodborne disease in the UK. The FSA are inviting tenders to carry out a survey of antimicrobial resistant (AMR) E. coli found in fresh beef and pork meat on retail sale in the UK in 2027, in accordance with the Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2020/1729 and Technical specifications on a randomisation of sampling for the purpose of antimicrobial resistance monitoring from food‐producing animals and food as from 2021. The applicant(s) must be familiar with both the Commission’s Decision and technical specifications to ensure the survey is totally compliant with their specific requirements. The survey will be awarded in two procurements: 1. Sampling (This procurement): Survey design, sample collection at retail and transportation to the testing laboratory 2. Testing (Tendered separately): Microbiological testing, data analysis, reporting and archiving of recovered bacteria and their AMR profile. By submitting an application, tenders will be bidding to complete the work required for sampling. Suppliers should note that sampling is operationally dependent upon laboratory testing. The successful sampling supplier will be required to work collaboratively and proactively with the supplier appointed to testing throughout the contract duration. This will include, but not be limited to: • Agreeing sampling schedules and delivery arrangements. • Coordinating the transfer of samples to the testing laboratory. • Sharing sampling data, metadata and supporting documentation. • Resolving logistical and operational issues to prevent delays to testing activities. • Participating in joint meetings with the FSA and testing laboratory where required. The successful sampling supplier will be expected to cooperate fully with the testing laboratory to ensure successful delivery of the overall surveillance programme.

Emma Wools, the Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales ("the Commissioner") made a pledge in her election manifesto to perform a review of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) arrangements across the seven Local Authority (LAs) areas within the South Wales police area. CCTV plays a critical role in enhancing public safety, preventing and detecting crime and supporting community reassurance across South Wales. It supports the delivery of South Wales Police and partnership priorities including; tackling serious violence and anti-social behaviour, protecting vulnerable people, and maintaining safe and vibrant town centres and night-time economies. An independent review shall be commissioned by the Commissioner to provide a comprehensive assessment of current public space CCTV provision. The review shall consider the contribution, needs and opportunities presented by LAs, policing, community safety partners and other relevant stakeholders across the South Wales Police force area. The geographical area covers the seven Local Authority areas of Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Neath Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea and Vale of Glamorgan. As part of its housing stock, CCHA has a range of specialist lifting and mobility equipment installed within tenants' homes and communal areas. This equipment plays a vital role in supporting residents with mobility difficulties, disabilities, age-related needs, and long-term health conditions, enabling them to access and remain in their homes safely and independently. The equipment covered by this contract includes, but is not limited to: Stairlifts (straight and curved) Through-floor platform lifts Ceiling track hoists Associated lifting equipment and accessories CCHA requires a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide a comprehensive service for servicing and planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs, and emergency breakdown attendance. The number and type of assets may vary throughout the contract term as equipment is installed, replaced, adapted, or removed to meet changing tenant needs. Tenderers should therefore be capable of managing a dynamic asset base. The successful Contractor will work in partnership with CCHA’s Property Services, Asset Management, Compliance, and Housing Management teams to ensure that all equipment remains safe, compliant, and fully operational. Given the nature of the service, the Contractor will regularly work within occupied homes and will be expected to deliver a customer-focused service that recognises the needs of vulnerable residents.

DNA-based methods have the potential to significantly change how we monitor and assess ecosystems. Natural England has been exploring the use of these methods for environmental monitoring for several years, delivering a series of reports which focus on the development of DNA-based methods with potential in a particular area. These methods are now being used more widely within Natural England, particularly the detection of ecological communities using environmental DNA (eDNA). This is often conducted by employing metabarcoding assays which target specific species assemblages (e.g. fish, mammals) or broader taxonomic groups (e.g. vertebrates, invertebrates, bacteria). The DNA Team aims to operationalise DNA-based methods and produces guidance for using them in monitoring projects. In order to provide sound recommendations, it is important that we understand the limitations of, and uncertainties with, DNA-based methods. Natural England staff need to be able to understand how DNA-derived data can be used, and the confidence they can have in data derived using different DNA-based methods which have been validated to different stages. Natural England previously commissioned the development of a framework to enable end users to assess confidence in metabarcoding assays and results (Pagaling and others, under review; a copy of the framework can be provided by Natural England upon request by emailing monitoring.innovation@naturalengland.org.uk). By using the checklist and levelled scale, end users can appropriately interpret results. It also provides validation and reporting standards for the development of new metabarcoding assays. The framework will enable end-users to determine the recommended scenarios for application of a given assay and improve assay performance with further validation. This project will advance the metabarcoding assay validation framework by expanding upon previous work to conduct a further literature review and meta-analysis, covering more assays being used for different purposes and in different contexts. In addition beta testing of the framework and user guide will be required, as well as the creation and delivery of training materials and course .

SWC requires a suitable vehicle platform to support future conversion into a mobile training and demonstration unit. The vehicle must meet the dimensional, structural, payload and technical requirements outlined within the Specification of Requirements. The van must be capable of accommodating an estimated future training fit-out payload of approximately 1,190kg (including safety margin) under a separate contract following delivery of the van.
