Passive quantitative sampling methodology will be employed to allow the full picture of chemical exposure to wildlife to be assessed. Chemical analysis would be selective to chemicals most relevant to remain cost effective. Based on the above analysis, evidence of exposure above the regulatory acceptable concentrations (RAC) for each substance can be used to assess the potential for adverse effects on aquatic species. Furthermore, the additive or synergistic adverse effects of chemical mixtures can be assessed. The evidence of effects from the risk assessment evidence may allow direct management practices to mitigate the adverse effects of these chemicals, either at source, in wastewater treatment works or at the protected site. This work is designed to provide evidence to Natural England, Pharmaceuticals in the Environment Group and DEFRA Biodiversity Pressures Team.

As part of the ongoing maintenance of Jubilee2 leisure facility the Council is looking to appoint a suitable contactor to maintain the water and filtration systems, chemical dosing system, balance tanks, ultra violet (UV) systems, moveable floor and platforms. The systems are currently being maintained under an existing contract which will expire on 30th September 2026. City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) is seeking to appoint an Independent Client Advisor to provide expert, impartial advice to support the Council in bringing forward a hotel-led regeneration scheme. The Advisor will act solely in the interests of CWC and will support the project through optioneering, strategy development, market interface, and procurement towards deal completion. CWC is exploring options for bringing forward a hotel-led, mixed-use regeneration scheme on the CWC owned Broad Street car park site. Early work has identified potential for a hotel component, supported by complementary uses, but CWC now requires independent expert support to refine its objectives and requirements and to map out appropriate delivery routes, which are market facing.

The objective of the project is to scrutinise the processes in place and quality of evidence that National Highways uses to assure itself that it is compliant with the conditions of its licence. Ross-on-Wye Town Council is looking for an organiser for its well established, annual series of summer concerts at the Bandstand, Wye Street, Ross-on-Wye which take place from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Sundays. Organisers are invited to submit an expression of interest and quote (per annum) for arranging music for Bands in the Park, to cover all costs, including payments to the bands/musicians as detailed below. Requirement 1: Organisation The Organiser will be contracted for a three-year period to arrange music for a series of summer concerts to be held each Sunday afternoon commencing in 2027 on 16th May up to and including 5th September in the Bandstand at Caroline Symonds Gardens (19* performances across 17 weekends. *3 performers at Proms in the Park). Dates for future years will be approved by the relevant Council Committee and the organiser will be notified well in advance. It is assumed there will be one band per concert with the exception of a special one-off event which is provisionally booked for 2027 on Sunday 18th July which will be a 'Proms in the Park' style event from approximately 1.30pm to 7.00pm. The 'Proms' event would require three differing types of bands/groups but including one brass band (top section class if possible). The series must include a variety of traditional and non-traditional bands/ensembles to play a mixed genre of musical styles. Requirement 2: Event Management The organiser must arrive by 1pm at the latest and unlock the Bandstand, set out the chairs (provided by the Town Council), put up the parking signs and welcome the band members. Following the concert, chairs are to be stacked and secured, the bandstand locked, and the area left tidy. Due to the location of the event, traffic management will need to be considered by the organiser, and managed where possible in line with health and safety regulations. This should be included in the risk assessment. The Council's responsibilities will include providing the chairs and making arrangements for the events to be advertised. In addition, the Committee will look at the provision of refreshments and arrange for charity collections each week for local community and voluntary groups. The Contract term is from 1st October 2026 to the 30th September 2029

1.1This brief sets out the specification of works required to undertake a full review of the North Kent Strategic Access Management and Monitoring Strategy (SAMMS). Medway Council, on behalf of the North Kent Partnership, invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to carry out a comprehensive review of the North Kent SAMMS. The commission will assess recreational pressures affecting the internationally and nationally designated habitats of North Kent through updated visitor survey work, provide an up‐to‐date evidence base for mitigation, and produce an updated and fully costed SAMMS strategy capable of being delivered in perpetuity (defined as a minimum of 80 years). 1.2The updated Strategy will support the continued lawful delivery of residential and other development across North Kent in compliance with the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations, ensuring that adverse impacts arising in combination from recreational disturbance are effectively avoided and mitigated. 1.3The commission will be delivered in two linked phases: •Phase 1 – Evidence Review and Visitor Survey Update. A review of the existing North Kent SAMMS evidence base, including the commissioning and delivery of updated visitor surveys, bird disturbance surveys and use of additional datasets, to provide an up‐to‐date understanding of recreational use, access patterns and disturbance pressures affecting designated Habitat Sites. •Phase 2 – SAMMS Strategy Review and Mitigation Update. Velindre NHS Trust is undertaking pre-market engagement to explore innovative solutions for the development of a World Model to support the delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) within the new Velindre Cancer Centre. Wyre Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to assess the level of interest and capacity within the local market for the provision of stray dog kennelling services. This exercise is intended to inform future procurement considerations and help the Council understand the availability of suitable providers both within Wyre and the surrounding areas. The Council has a statutory responsibility under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 to make arrangements for dealing with stray dogs and is seeking feedback from organisations that may be interested in delivering these services.
