Running alongside a multidisciplinary consultancy commissioned to develop the Roadmap, the QA process will provide robust scrutiny through structured peer review and public review panels. The successful contractor will establish and facilitate a framework to assess and challenge emerging recommendations, ensuring they are evidence-based, technically sound, inclusive, transparent, and informed by community perspectives. The contract is expected to commence in September/October 2026 and run for 12 months, subject to funding availability. Online Platform for Schools/students to prepare for and compare Higher Education and Apprenticeship Description of the goods or services required The Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitable providers that are able to offer an online system that will be available to all students and staff within Caerphilly CBC’s secondary schools-currently there are 9. The system shall need to be procured within the academic year (2026– 2027) to provide the following services: • A system that allows students to explore a range of career pathways in depth based on their expressed interests; these pathways to include details of all university subject areas and apprenticeship sectors • The system shall have up to date expert impartial advice and guidance built into it • The system shall be able to demonstrate to learners the necessary steps that need to be undertaken to access any given pathway • The system needs to provide a fully searchable directory of all UK University degree courses, EU university courses delivered through English, a wide range of US, Australasian and Asian university courses, Apprenticeships, Degree Apprenticeships and Oxbridge colleges • The system needs to be able to apply a wide range of filters to the data to allow students to quickly create short lists of potential options that they can then consider in more detail • The Council is looking for a system that will support learners in their preparation of applications for future education/careers; it shall: • Enable students to create a bank of activities they have undertaken or record achievements and from these identify the skills and qualities they have developed and demonstrated; the intended use of this material is to support the production of high quality personal statements and CVs 2.2 •The Council wish to see included a systematic approach to the writing of personal statements and CVs that may be used for a range of careers pathways be it HE via UCAS or overseas or Apprenticeship routes • The system shall also support the efficient production of references that would accompany the student applications • The system shall also provide support and planning functions to staff that have to work with students in helping them to reach high quality decisions on progression routes; these shall include: • Planning functions related to the delivery of careers and guidance programmes • Awide range of supporting resources • The ability to monitor student activity in real time through the applications process and provide feedback • The ability to monitor staff who are contributing to the process eg writing of references • The ability to monitor, track and report on the destinations achieved by students • The system must have the capability to update its data on a frequent basis so that it remains live and relevant; this is particularly the case for data on apprenticeships where we anticipate live opportunities across the UK will be posted on a regular basis e.g. weekly/monthly • The system must meet the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (2018) with robust back up features. UKAEA requires a solution for storing relatively small amounts of tritium. Usually, we use getter materials such as depleted Uranium and products have been purchased previously from known suppliers. What has been delivered has not been of high enough quality and we would like to understand what our options are and to make sure our specification is tight. Due to the nature of this project, there is currently no defined value for the project, and the value given is purely theoretical. The technical team would like to use this Pre Market Engagement Notice to understand what is available within the market to develop a robust specification for the future intended tender. East Riding of Yorkshire Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement in relation to a proposed contract for the provision of a vaping as a quit aid to support local smoking cessation programmes. The provider is expected to provide access to vaping products and associated support for eligible residents referred through the Council's commissioned Stop Smoking Service. The Council is seeking to understand the capacity and capability of the market to deliver the service, including the provision of an online voucher platform, access to approved vaping products, home delivery arrangements and training/support for smoking cessation practitioners. The HIVE facility uses a unique spectropyrometer, that measures surface temperature without emissivity data and includes uncertainty. We seek another for the HHFTVF facility. This equipment is to be used on a high heat flux test facility which primarily, though not exclusively, uses induction heating to heat metallic samples in a vacuum. The equipment is required to provide a non-contact temperature measurement through a window of the vacuum vessel. The key point is that for the surface of interest, the emissivity, emissivity profile with temperature/wavelength/surface finish etc. is unknown and/or spatio-temporally changing. The equipment needs to measure surface temperature without the emissivity being inputted by the user. We need this as typical non-contact temperature (thermography) measurements require accurate knowledge of the emissivity of a surface to provide an accurate temperature measurement, but we do not have this information for the surfaces of interest. The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) regulates auditors, accountants and actuaries and sets the UK's Corporate Governance and Stewardship Codes. As the Competent Authority for audit in the UK, we set auditing and ethical standards and monitor and enforce audit quality. The FRC requires Research Services. This research concerns the pre-qualification education, training, and assessment of UK statutory auditors insofar as those matters relate specifically to non-PIE UK audit firms. By non-PIE UK audit firms we mean firms that carry out UK statutory audits, but do not audit Public Interest Entities (PIEs). The project will interview a selection of non-PIE audit firms to gain insights from them about current approaches to training, and to understand the barriers to effective training. The interviewed sample of firms will include both those that do, and that do not, currently offer training (i.e. that do/do not employ trainee auditors during their pre-qualification years). Outputs and Deliverables • Full transcripts (appropriately anonymised) from the interviews • A presentation of early indicative findings from the initial interviews, by late September • A report/presentation drawing out themes that emerged, with illustrative quotes, etc. The report/presentation will be delivered in interim form (by mid-October) and final form (by late-December). The Supplier will anonymise all outputs so the FRC will not be able to identify which firms and individuals participated. It is nationally recognised that service users with serious mental illness or learning disability are more likely to have co-morbid physical health issues and shorter life expectancy. Residing in inpatient services for long periods of time can also result in service users being more likely to develop long term physical health conditions. A number of service users within each of the units covered by the service level agreement will have been admitted from outside of the Cheshire footprint and therefore will not be registered with a local GP, or eligible for such registration. This service provision allows access to ongoing physical health monitoring/ screening. Better Health Manchester are able to offer a service which aligns with the needs of the three wards, and matches the service provided by the previous provider. They currently work with other NHS Mental Health Trusts and have extensive experience of working with these patient cohorts.
