CCW wishes to appoint a market research agency to provide qualitative research services across three segments: Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs)1 Retailers2 Business customers. Rossett Community Council is seeking tenders from experienced playground contractors to undertake the redevelopment of the children's play area within Rossett Park. The Council wishes to create an attractive, inclusive and accessible play space for children of mainly older ages and abilities that provides challenging, imaginative and sensory play opportunities whilst complementing the character of the existing park. The Government's collection and packaging reforms represent the biggest change to the UK's waste and recycling sector for c.25 years. Simpler Recycling aims to make it easier for households and businesses to recycle, including making provisions by 31 March 2027 for all local authorities in England to collect plastic bags and wrapping (flexibles) for recycling from all households. The FlexFlats project aims to understand how local authorities can provide an efficient and effective flexibles collection service to residents who live in purpose-built flats and share bins (communal bins). The pilots will be carried out in partnership with three London local authorities with five pilot sites (blocks) in each. The local authorities are: • London borough of Bexley (twin-stream dry recycling service) • London borough of Lewisham (comingled dry recycling service) • Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (commingled dry recycling service) The pilot will trial a range of methods for flexibles plastics collection in 15 blocks of flats across the three boroughs. Each block will have a minimum of 25 households and will have a residual waste and dry recycling collection service already in place. A range of in-home solutions will be piloted. Flexibles sorted in the home will then be collected externally in either the usual dry recycling bin or a separate flexibles bin in the communal bin area - it is anticipated that separate flexibles bins will be no larger than 240l. The pilots are scheduled to go live in late September 2026, with baseline monitoring taking place prior (including WCA). Pilots will run for 3.5 months, running until mid-January 2027, with post-monitoring taking place upon project close. The following project deliverables will be undertaken by the succesful bidder: • Two phase waste composition analysis to be undertaken for waste and recycling from all properties at up to 15 pilot sites situated across 15 housing estates/blocks within three London boroughs (five within each borough), using one or more sort sites provided by the local authorities. Phase 1: Pre-pilot WCA - to be undertaken between 7th - 26th September 2026 before interventions are introduced Phase 2: Post-pilot WCA - to be undertaken late January/early February 2027 to assess impact of interventions • Sorting to meet the data classification provided; • Confirmation of all appropriate permits to sort waste and (if required) transport waste; • Provision of a risk assessment in advance of any collection and sorting; • Attendence at an inception meeting via Teams and attendance at regular contract meetings during peak delivery periods (30 minutes/fortnightly or as required) and any other communications as required leading up to and required between project phases; • Delivery of the project outputs as set out in section 5; • Presentation of the results of the project (online via teams) • Final close down meeting (1 hour duration online), anticipated to be held February / March 2027. This will be comprised of up to 15 blocks in total (across three local authority areas), with approximately 500-700 properties' waste across these, per phase. Material collection may be undertaken by the partner local authority, with material delivery to the selected sort site, or this may be a requirement of the successful bidder. ReLondon will work with partner boroughs to determine if waste can be collected and delivered to the sort site by their waste crews/contractors. Bidders should provide an itemised cost line within the tender response for the collection of the waste from blocks in case this cannot be arranged. The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAST) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced provider to deliver Ambulance Specialist Manual Handling Training and Consultancy Services for its workforce across the South West of England. The contract will support the Trust in maintaining safe, effective, and compliant manual handling practices for operational and non-operational staff, helping to reduce the risk of injury and promote workforce wellbeing. The successful provider will be expected to deliver specialist manual handling training, expert advice, consultancy support, and a train-the-trainer approach to enable the Trust to maintain and continuously improve its manual handling capability. Services will support a large and geographically dispersed workforce operating across Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. BACKGROUND Wrexham County Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of a Provision of Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services for the collection and delivery of mechanic overalls and work mats on a weekly basis. Collections and deliveries must take place simultaneously. SCOPE Wrexham County Borough Council estimate that there will be between 10 and 40 sets of PPE mechanics overalls plus 4 workshop mats, each week. The specific collection and delivery day and time will be agreed at contract award and must remain consistent each week for the duration of the contract. Collections and deliveries must take place Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 15:00. After the initial collection of soiled garments, all subsequent collections and deliveries must occur simultaneously during the same scheduled visit.
The Violence Prevention Youth Health Champions Programme is a workforce development and community prevention initiative designed to strengthen violence prevention knowledge, leadership and peer-led health improvement across the Humber region. The programme combines practitioner upskilling, trainer development and youth engagement to create a sustainable model for delivering violence prevention education within communities. The programme has three connected components: 1. Level 3 Award in Violence Prevention and Reduction (VPR) for Operational Leads 2. Train the Trainer Programme 3. Delivery of the Level 2 Violence Prevention Youth Health Champions qualification Together, these elements develop practitioner expertise, build local capacity and empower young people to act as advocates for violence prevention. The intervention follows a structured, nationally recognised curriculum delivered through the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) accredited qualifications. The qualification equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to identify risk factors, implement preventative approaches and support teams in responding effectively to incidents of violence. Following completion of the Level 3 training, practitioners participate in a one-day Train the Trainer programme. This equips them to deliver the Level 2 Youth Health Champions qualification within their organisations and communities. The session focuses on: • Effective facilitation techniques • Safeguarding and trauma-informed delivery • Managing group dynamics and inclusive learning • Assessment and quality assurance processes • Adapting training for different youth settings This approach builds sustainable local capacity and ensures the programme can be delivered across multiple organisations. Level 2 Violence Prevention Youth Health Champions Qualification: Trained practitioners then deliver the Level 2 Youth Health Champions programme to young people aged 16-25, supported by We Do Wellbeing as the registered Qualification centre, with the RSPH The course consists of 12 guided learning hours (20 hours total qualification time) delivered through interactive sessions covering: • Understanding the causes and drivers of violence • Risk and protective factors affecting young people • Public health approaches to violence prevention • Identifying community resources and support services • Developing and delivering peer-led health messages Participants complete the course by designing and presenting a violence prevention awareness campaign aimed at their peers. While the programme follows a defined curriculum aligned with RSPH learning outcomes, delivery is designed to be flexible and responsive to participant needs.
The aim of this project is to strengthen JNCC's strategic approach to external stakeholder engagement by facilitating the completion of robust stakeholder mapping and developing a coordinated stakeholder management framework. The framework will enable JNCC to prioritise stakeholders and engagement efforts more effectively to support delivery of the Together for Nature strategy and improve consistency and impact across the organisation. The project will also support JNCC to articulate and evidence the productivity, efficiency and organisational benefits of improved stakeholder engagement, including guidance on capturing benefits against agreed success measures. Cefas requires a plant growth chamber for the growth of microalgal cultures under controlled conditions. The chamber needs to provide consistent lighting and temperature throughout with several shelves to allow for high efficiency growth of cultures held in tissue culture flasks. The cultures need to be maintained for prolonged periods of time with growth conditions optimised towards maximum achievable cell growth rates and densities. A large internal capacity is required in order to maintain a high number of culture flasks of either the same or multiple species of marine microalgae and freshwater cyanobacteria. Options for gas or electrical lines into the unit are desirable but not essential. The unit will be expected to operate in a laboratory environment with external temperatures between 15-25 °C.
