The council is seeking to establish a 4-year framework agreement. The requirement to deliver food from production sites to import locations is partly due to certain locations not having adequate facilities within their premises to cook the volume of meals required. This requirement was previously delivered in-house by Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability (NRS), however over time NRS’ capacity has reduced.
