Before the tender

UK tender pipeline and market engagement

Pipeline, preliminary market engagement and planned procurement notices: buyers telling the market what they intend to buy before the tender opens. You can't bid on these yet, but you can often join market engagement, register interest or get ready. From Find a Tender and Contracts Finder only.

About this data

Tenders come from the UK government's Find a Tender and Contracts Finder services (OCDS feeds), refreshed twice a day. A tender counts as open until its stated deadline. Values are as stated by the buyer and are often estimates. Always check the official notice before bidding.

Early notices are releases tagged as planning on Find a Tender (UK1 pipeline, UK2 preliminary market engagement, UK3 planned procurement) and Contracts Finder (early engagement, future opportunity) whose tender has not opened yet. “Tender expected” is the future notice date the buyer gave; notices without one are shown for 60 days after publication. Buyers can change or drop plans, so dates are indicative. See also open tenders and contracts ending soon.
